About Josie-dog
Josie is my dog. She’s going to be 11 years old on December 16th (or thereabouts). She’s sweet and cute, and also can be quite the handful. We had a few incidents with fence-breakouts in the Fall (06), but since I purchased a radio fence and used it to reinforce her chainlink fence, there have been no recurrences. Josie thought her fence-breakouts were fun little excursions, but Rebecca can tell you that they were incredibly traumatic for me.

Rebecca has taken some pictures of Josie’s new-and-improved fence, which I was able to extend after (1) I took down an old chicken-wire fence that prevented me from extending it previously, and (2) I was no longer using extra fence panels to reinforce certain vulnerable points on the fence (because I added the radio fence).

Part of the anti-breakout strategy was some new toys for Josie — here she is trying to figure one of them out. We’ve figured out that peanut butter or cheese whiz have a lot to do with how interested she is in a given toy, but at this stage we were still just using biscuits.
